RC10 Racer Update

by LowClassCC on May.31, 2009, under Associated

well the vintage rc10 racer i’m building for my wife has a small update.  at this point i have trimmed the body to fit and installed trinity wing wire mounts.  as you can tell the body has had the back trimmed off of it so that  the body can be removed without removing the wing. this will make it easier  to swap batteries out between runs. plans are to use velcro to mount the body. sorry this is such a small update but it is still coming along.

RC10 Team Car Basher Finished and Running!

by LowClassCC on May.31, 2009, under Associated

well as you can see this car is mostly stock. i have made shock towers front and back from orange g10. and the chassis, motor plate and nose are powder coated orange. all of the white plastic parts have been dyed pink. this car will be used for parking lot fun and later be used on my backyard track later down the line when i rebuild it. there are currently no plans to upgrade this buggy beyond this point. but i have got to admit this is one sweet basher. i do plan on installing  a body, wing, and chassis protector on this car at a later date.

My New RC Work Shop

by LowClassCC on May.20, 2009, under Custom Made, Track / Shop

it’s still in the works but i figured since you will start noticing the new pics are taken in a new place i better go ahead and show you what i have so far. i laid a sub-floor and a checker flag pattern for the floor covering. the benches are started but not completed as of yet. when i have them finished they will wrap all the way around the room, have shelves below for storage, and shelves above for storage/display and easy access. i figured if i will be doing r/c as a family i better step it up a notch and have somewhere other than the dinner table to work on everything.

once the benches are complete i will have a place for everything. soldering, charging, motor rebuilding, painting, fabrication, wrenching, and even a computer with internet access right there so i can look up porn… errr i mean rc parts. :)

Bolink Outlaw Sprint Almost Finished!

by LowClassCC on May.20, 2009, under Bolink, New Toys

well a few new items have arrived and been installed on the spring car. here is a list of the new items. NIP Chrome Proline front bumper. this is the same as the oem bumper except in a chrome finish. next we have a full set of NIP Chrome Factory Bolink Wheels and tires. the front wheel is a little different than the one that came on the car but the lettering on the tire is the same. as for the rear. the rear wheel is identical but the lettering on the tire is different. the original wheels were white also in case you didn’t know. next we have an associated sprint car wing that was also NIP. i found this on the wall at P&T Hobbies in Mitchel IN. and at a cost of less than $4 i couldn’t pass it up. i have located a nip factory bolink sprint car wing but it runs $18 plus shipping. i may or may not change it out later on. most likely not unless i find a driver and decide to paint up another body in the factory box-art design. and that’s a big if. but for now i am calling this car complete.
