i have started to divide out the pan car parts that i had got in the lot. much to my surprise is that i have nearly enough here to build 3 cars. the screws are missing which i do in fact have. i also need the center shock mount for both of the rc10l2o’s, i need the guts for the rear axles and bearing kits. but no worry i will be able to finish thee cars up for less than $15 each. so in the end i will have less than $25 in each car. this is one lot i am proud that i was able to get ahold of.

organizing a shop is most likely one of the most important things that you could ever do. if everything has its own place it will be a lot easier to find what you are looking for when the time comes that you need something. i picked these two little organizers up at the local wal-mart. and as you ca see i am labeling every drawer so i can quickly find out what is in it. little did i know how fast that the drawers would fill up. it wont be long before i will need to pick up a few more of these.

well i was needing tires for my pan car and came across this lot. i started to look through the pics that the guy had and was shocked at  just how much was in this lot  for the price he was asking. i felt that by the looks of it i could get a couple cars built with the parts in the lot for the most  part. i knew i would need some stuff to finish them but i wont be needing much by the looks of it.

well i have finished the upper shelves and i got some of the bottoms under the bench finished. there isn’t much more to go. i’m very excited to be able to have this place to be able to work on the cars. one of my favorite finishing touches to the shop has got to be the vintage posters i am putting up. it just gives it that real world shop feel.

I lucked into finding one of the guys on rc10talk selling some ventage tires new in package pretty cheep the other day. well they just arrived. these will be perfect to use to replace the bald wore out tires that  are commonly found on the older buggies.
