RC10 w/ Rare RPM Wide Arm Conversion
by LowClassCC on Jun.22, 2009, under Associated, New Toys
i finally scored a wide arm conversion rc10! i’m really excited about this car but i’m a little pissed off at the same time. the seller stated that it ran great and just needed to have a battery tossed in to be a runner. well what a crock of crap. here is a list of the problems this car has that i have found so far.
- transmitter is 72mhz while the receiver is 27mhz.
- speed controller is toast.
- the steering servo don’t work.
- 1 rear inner hinge pin is severely bent.
- 1 front inner hinge pin is severely bent.
- 1 rear shock shaft is severely bent.
- 1 rear universal shaft is severely bent.
- thrust bearing is completely missing from slipper clutch.
- the rear of the chassis is almost completely wore through.
- the entire chassis is severely warped.
- the front bulkhead is cracked.
- the rear shock tower has been cut.
- the rear bulkhead is so badly cut up its not usable.
- the tranny brace has been hacked up.
- turnbuckles don’t match and some are bent.
- ball cups don’t match and some are unusable.
- 3 out of the 4 shocks had zero oil in them due to leakage.
- the entire car was coated in a thick layer of shock oil.
- rear carriers are dyes some ugly yellow/gold color.
- wheels look brush painted.
- front tires are dry rotted to the point that they are falling apart.
but there are good points to the car. it does have the rpm rear wide arm conversion and the rpm wide front arm conversion. it also has mip ball bearing steering. most of the turnbuckles are titanium even though they are not a match set. has the rpm worlds front shock tower. and it has the original mini pin tires “pro-line fuzzies”. these tires are in pretty good shape and will be perfect for a shelf car in the future.
over all i’m happy with it and will be glad when i get her restored back to a running state.
O-Rings Are Now Counted
by LowClassCC on Jun.22, 2009, under Products, Track / Shop
that’s right. i have counted and divided out the o-rings ready to be packaged up. but sadly the bags are still not here so finishing things up so that these are read to sell will have to wait. but be advised it shouldn’t be much longer.

Low Class Cheap-O Shock O-Rings
by LowClassCC on Jun.22, 2009, under New Toys, Products, Track / Shop
my very first product is just about ready. i have the o-rings that need to be divided out and i have had the header cards made for the packaging. i’m just waiting on the baggies to get here and i will be ready to pack these up for sale. i will be sure to let everyone know as soon as they are ready to ship. these will fit most 1/10 scale shocks and some others as well. and at a cost of around 50% less than the competition. tower hobbies sell the exact same o-rings in packs of 8 for $2. ours will be sold in packs of 24 for just $3 plus shipping. this is a great opportunity to stock up on the o-rings and fix those leaky shocks! and just so everyone knows. we don’t just sell these o-rings, we race with them too. so you will be getting the exact same thing that all of our cars are using. we would never sell any product that we wouldn’t use in our own vehicles.
Novak Millennium Pro DC Charger
by LowClassCC on Jun.22, 2009, under New Toys
well after all this time of charging up packs with a radio shack 5 hour wall charger i’m very happy to now own this piece of equipment. batteries that use to take 5 hours or more to charge now take less than 20 mins. and that is not even on its highest setting. i really like the look in my sons eyes when he asks to run his rc car and 20 mins later i tell him its ready. he has been so understanding that it took so long to charge the batteries before we got this new charger.. man he makes me proud. hopefully he will grow up being just as proud of me.
anyway here’s the link to novak’s site with the specs to this charger. Click Here
