When it comes to building or working on rc cars nothing beats a good set of tools. these bolink torkers may be old but i was able to pick them up off of ebay for next to nothing. when you compare these to the  standard L shaped allen wrenches its like comparing night to day. you wouldn’t think something so small would make such a big difference. i strongly recommend to anyone that works on rc cars to buy a set. it will take the work out of wrenching and put the fun back in.

well a few new items have arrived and been installed on the spring car. here is a list of the new items. NIP Chrome Proline front bumper. this is the same as the oem bumper except in a chrome finish. next we have a full set of NIP Chrome Factory Bolink Wheels and tires. the front wheel is a little different than the one that came on the car but the lettering on the tire is the same. as for the rear. the rear wheel is identical but the lettering on the tire is different. the original wheels were white also in case you didn’t know. next we have an associated sprint car wing that was also NIP. i found this on the wall at P&T Hobbies in Mitchel IN. and at a cost of less than $4 i couldn’t pass it up. i have located a nip factory bolink sprint car wing but it runs $18 plus shipping. i may or may not change it out later on. most likely not unless i find a driver and decide to paint up another body in the factory box-art design. and that’s a big if. but for now i am calling this car complete.

well i still don’t have the driver or the wing yet, but i do have the body painted and mounted on the sprint car. next time i make it out to the track i will go through the decals they have to see if i can find some that will go good on the car. i’m close to being  able to call this shelf car finished so i’m a bit excited over that. well when i have a new update on this car you all will be the very first to know!

Here she is (the unpainted one). this is the body i was needing for my outlaw sprint car. the seller also sent me a bonus body to go along with the bolink body.

now the only things left to finish this shelf queen are a wing and a driver. i have located the wing. the driver just passed me by on ebay so i will have to continue the search.

well i bought this body to use on my outlaw but ended up finding the correct one i needed a few days later. this body is nip but has been removed for pics. now that i have the correct body for my outlaw i may put this one up for sale later on. but for now its just going to be put up. if your interested feel free to ask about it.
